Days of Service: Sunday
Route: The Sunday Loop Route provides service between both Westbank terminals, Wilty and Walkertown, and the New Orleans CBD as well as areas south of the Westbank Expressway. The Sunday Loop travels from the New Orleans CBD to the Wilty Terminal, and along Westbank Expressway to the Walkertown Terminal. It then travels down Ames Blvd., to Lapalco Blvd and west to Lapalco Blvd and Victory. At Lapalco and Victory it turns around to travel the rest of the Lapalco route back to the New Orleans CBD.
Fare: The fare for the Westbank Sunday Loop is $1.50 local and $2.00 downtown. The fareboxes
will accept $1, $5, $10, $20 dollar bills and all U.S.
coins. The fareboxes will provide change in the form
of a value card that can be used for future fares.
Transfers: Transfers are available from the driver for 50¢. They are not valid between JeT and RTA buses (Orleans Parish). They are valid only between the lines within the system from which they are issued.
Tokens and Passes: Tokens (10 for $15) and monthly passes ($60) are available at various locations. Monthly passes are good on all JeT Eastbank and Westbank lines, for unlimited rides.
Half Fare Cards: Riders 65 or older, mobility impaired, disabled or medicare card holders may be issued a card for half-price fares on regular transit. With a half fare card, the fare for the Westbank Sunday Loop is 75¢ local and $1.00 downtown . Transfers are 25¢. Half fare cards cannot be used to buy tokens or passes.
Alternate Transportation: A separate Mobility Impaired Transit System (MITS) is available for persons who are, because of a disability, unable to use regular transit. For details call 504-889-7156.
Riders can purchase tokens or passes and bike
permits at the Westbank Transit Office. Half-fare cards are issued at the information booth at the Gretna/Wilty terminal. Call 504-818-1077 for other locations
