Welcome to Jefferson Transit, serving the urbanized portion of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Jefferson Transit (JeT) also provides service to New Orleans and the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Connecting service is provided to the RTA bus lines in Kenner, Gretna and New Orleans. Jefferson Transit provides both fixed route ADA accessible bus service and MITS curb-to-curb paratransit van service for certified riders who are unable to use the fixed route service.

Due to construction on the Huey P. Long Bridge, the W-10 Huey P. Long route may run behind schedule.
Due to street closures at Common and S. Rampart beginning on May 11, 2013, all Westbank routes entering the CBD (W2-Westbank Expressway, W8-Terrytown, W3-Lapalco, and WSL-Westbank Sunday Loop) will experience detours. The Westbank routes will detour at Loyola Ave. and Tulane Ave. The detour route will travel to Canal St., then to Baronne St., and then to Poydras St. Buses will not stop between Loyola Ave. and St. Charles Ave. The stops at Rampart behind the Holiday Inn and Baronne St. at Poydras St. will not be in service.
