 Half Fare Cards
What is it?
The half fare card allows you to ride JeT buses for half price. This includes regular bus fares and transfers.
Who is eligible?
- Riders 65 years or older
- Riders that are mobility impaired
- Medicare card holders.
How do I apply?
To get your ID card, bring both of the following to one of our locations (Locations are listed below):
- Medicare card (your red, white and blue card)
- Picture ID (ex: State ID or Driver’s License)
If you are not a Medicare card holder, or lack a second form of ID, please call a Jefferson Transit office for more information. Eastbank: 818-1077, Westbank: 367-7433.
There is no charge to get a half fare card.
