Featured Route: W2 - Westbank Expressway

W2 Riders

Operating Monday through Saturday, the Westbank Expressway route (W-2) provides service from the New Orleans CBD to Laffite-Larose.  The line passes through both Westbank terminals, Walkertown and Wilty, and connects with all other Westbank routes.

The Louisiana Superdome, Harrah’s Casino, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the Westbank terminals, Oakwood Shopping Center, and West Jefferson Medical Center are popular stops along the Westbank Expressway line.  Additionally, numerous public and private schools, shops, eateries, service providers, and entertainment venues fall along this route.  Whether it’s a restaurant, pharmacy, day care, bank, gardening center, museum, hair or nail salon, church, or countless other destinations you wish to visit; the Westbank Expressway line will get you there. 

Connecting RTA Routes

• Riders can connect with many RTA routes within the New Orleans CBD including: 12-St. Charles, 16-South Claiborne, and 28-Martin Luther King.

Connecting JeT Routes

• Within the New Orleans CBD, passengers can connect with the Airport Express route (E-2).

• At the Wilty Terminal, riders can connect with the Lapalco (W-3) and Terrytown (W-8) routes.

• The Avondale (W-1) and Huey P. Long (W-10) routes can be accessed at the Walkertown Terminal.
