Featured Route: E1 - Veterans
The Veterans Memorial Blvd. (E1) route runs nearly all the way across Jefferson Parish along one of the region’s most active commercial corridors. Beginning at the corner of Williams Blvd. and 25th St., the route travels for miles down Veterans before concluding at the corner of City Park Ave. and Canal Blvd.
Among the most popular of the Veterans line stops are Lakeside Shopping Center (corner of Veterans and Causeway), the Clearview Shopping Center (corner of Veterans and Clearview), and the historic Canal St. cemeteries at the route’s end. Along the way are hundreds of businesses, retail facilities, and restaurants.
Connecting Routes
There are three points along the Veterans route where riders can connect with other bus lines.
- Williams & 25th -- transfer stop for the RTA Kenner Loop
- Causeway & Veterans -- transfer stop for the JeT Causeway (E5) line
- Canal and City Park Avenue transfer stop for several RTA lines and the Canal Streetcar line.
