Featured Route: E3 - Kenner Local

Kenner Loal - Bike Rider

Operating daily, the Kenner Local (E-3) follows the Mississippi River on Jefferson Highway from the City of Kenner in Jefferson Parish to the intersection of Carrollton and Claiborne Avenues in New Orleans. 

Ochsner Hospital, Harahan City Hall, the Harahan Branch of the Jefferson Public Library, a variety of public and private schools, and Kenner Heritage Park are only a few of the highlights along the route.  Additionally, numerous opportunities to dine, shop, and bank are only a bus stop away.  Bicycling enthusiasts should note that the Kenner Local route provides a close connection to the paved bike path along the Mississippi River. 

Connecting RTA Routes

  • At the intersection of Carrollton and Claiborne Avenues, riders can connect with several RTA routes including: 12-St.Charles, 39-Tulane, and 16-Claiborne.
  • Riders can connect with the Kenner Loop at the intersection of Williams Boulevard and Jefferson Highway. 

Connecting JeT Routes

  • Riders can connect with the Huey P. Long route (W-10) at the intersection of Jefferson Highway and Elmwood Park Boulevard in order to access the Yenni Building and Elmwood Business Park on the Eastbank or to continue on the route to the Westbank.
